Sunday 17th July saw The Waacktitioners head to Norfolk to compete in Beach Battle UK. The competition was part of The Lifestyles Extreme Sports Festival where Street Dance crews from all over the country competed to win a cash prize of £1000!

The Waacktitioners took to the stage mid afternoon and gave it their all! Just as the final crew finished the heavens opened and down came the rain. With everyone huddled into a tent for shelter Kymberlee Jay announced the results. To the crew's total suprise they had placed first and Kleio headed to the stage to collect the £1000 prize. The Waacktitioners could hardly believe it and celebrated by jamming to Spice Girls all the way home!

On Friday the 15th of July The Waacktitioners graced not one...but two of the stages at Lovebox Festival. Lovebox is a 3 day festival that takes place in Victoria Park every year. This year the festival played host to artists such as Snoop Dog, The Wombats, Scissor Sisters and The Waacktitioners! The disco-tastic crew performed their Prince tribute as part of 'The Lovebox Throwdown' along with other crews such as Birdgang, Rain and Drop the Pom. Following the battle they were invited to perform on the main stage for whopping 4000 festival goers!

The crowd loved it...especially the part where the ladies ripped off TinMantis' shirt! The day was a huge success and a great start to a waack-packed weekend!

On the 12th March The Waacktitoners made their 'MOVE IT' debut. MOVE IT is the UK's largest live dancing experience and attracts an audience of 20000+ dance enthusiasts including dance learners, teachers, choreographers and this year budding waackers!
(Roxy7even and Kleio with some waacking enthusiasts that took part in the workshop)
It was the first time waacking had ever graced the stage at the event, hosted annually at Kensington Olymipa. The Waacktitioners performed a tribute to Prince, which went down a storm on the main stage, followed by a sold out workshop taught by Roxy7even and Kleio (with Ginger as DJ!)
They enjoyed spreading some 'waacking love' and were thrilled to be involved with this event!
